150lb Great Dane Makes Best Foster Parent For These Kittens

Corbin is a giant Great Dane dog who has become very popular because he became the best adoptive father of all time. Although he is a huge 150 pound dog and his appearance can confuse people, this boy is happiest when he is surrounded by kittens and puppies.

As mentioned above, due to his large size, Corbin has a frightening and threatening appearance to some people who know him. But the reality is that Karen, his adoptive mother, assures that this dog would not hurt a fly and is all sweetheart.

Corbin has even been helping raise the kittens that Karen rescues and fosters for several years.

Great Dane dog becomes foster parent

Just knowing that the kittens she helps care for barely weigh half a pound, almost 300 times less than Corbin, is just amazing. So there is no doubt that he is a very careful and affectionate dog, which shows that he is happiest when he is surrounded by his fluffy friends.

Karen and her family adopted Corbin when he was 8 months old and 110lbs, now after almost 6 years he is a lovely dog. But Karen assures her that at first she was afraid that Corbin would hurt a kitten, since he is very clumsy because of his size. For this reason, the family did not allow him near the kittens, they knew he would not hurt them on purpose, but an accident could happen.

Also, their large size was something her family had to be aware of when around the rescued kittens.

“He was very shy, nervous and afraid of a lot of people. But he always loved other dogs and cats ».

One day, Corbin lay next to Karen, like he was asking a favor to see the kittens, so she brought him one. Corbin nudged the kitten gently with his nose, surprising Karen with how gentle and kind she was to the little creature.

After that day, the family decided that Corbin would be a good help and he became the official foster father of the house. Corbin loves all the kittens and is happy to be around them, he is definitely the father he needed to progress.

This gentle giant has shown that he is not only large in size, but also has a big heart that serves to love everyone.
