Texas toast with cheese

fixings:

4 tranches of Texas toast or thick white bread

1/2 cup ground cheddar (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)

2 t of soften unsalted spread

2 garlic cloves, minced (discretionary)

Preheat broiler 400°F (205°C).

Put the bread cuts on the baking plate.

In a little bowl, blend the softened margarine and minced garlic (if utilizing).

Spread the combination uniformly on the two sides of the bread cuts.

Sprinkle the ground cheddar equitably over each cut.

Heat in the preheated broiler for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cheddar is liquefied and the bread is brilliant.

Serve hot.
