I remember seeing this as a child. I saw it last year on a local channel. I found myself filled with emotions, especially this ending scene. You can see after he throws his helmet and goggles off, the boy and his horse get in sync. It’s almost like a train and you can hear how in tune they are. My eyes were filled with emotion and my heart was pounding. Truly a magnificent scene in cinematography history. No words or music. Just pure emotion and their reflecting on being with one another on that island. Pure joy!
