New rescue. Meet Sampson. Sampson was rescued from eastern Oregon. He is neurologic and can’t walk, he needs assistance with eating and going potty. Luckily, he has a fantastic foster mom and a rescue 100% devoted to figuring out what is wrong with him. The goal is to see if he can be treated and live a good life. We do not want him to suffer at all and understand that he may not be fixable. For the time being he is warm, safe and loved. @theswiftiekittens said.

Check out Sampson!!! He’s getting stronger and with exercises and we are trying a medication to help, he’s improving slightly. Sampson still can’t walk, but he’s going potty on his own. He loves to eat and play. He’s the sweetest little dude. His neurologic appointment is at the end of the month. He’s very much loved and a special foster. . @theswiftiekittens said.

Sampson is righting himself a little better. He obviously does better on non slick surfaces. He’s so playful and loves attention. Here’s hoping he continues to improve. . @theswiftiekittens said.

Sampson is getting physical rehab daily by his foster mom. Here he is working on his strength while eating. Then a cute video showing how he loves his face cleaned. @theswiftiekittens said.

Sampson is tiny but mighty. He is improving slowly with his ability to move and control his motions. He’s just going to be different and that’s ok as long as he has good quality of life. The neurologist thinks he does, so we are going to keep plugging along. In fact! He righted himself and urinated in that position for the first time last night! Please note that he is eating well, pooping and peeing, he just has issues getting around. @theswiftiekittens said.
