Hot peach cobbler
Hot peach cobbler right out of the oven!Yay Or Nay?
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 cup cake or all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
FULL RECIPE :
°1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
°1 cup cake or all-purpose flour
°1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
°salt 1/2 tsp
°1 cup full fat milk
°1 cup of sugar
°2 cups peaches, peeled and sliced, reserved in a bowl
– Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place the butter in a 13″ x 9″ baking dish. Place the plate in the oven to melt the butter.
– Mix flour with baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Stir in the milk and sugar to form a batter.
Using oven mitts, remove the hot baking dish from the oven.
– Pour the mixture into the baking dish. Spoon peaches and any peach juice evenly over mixture.
Bake until mixture has risen and is brown on top, about 30 minutes.
