FRIED DONUTS
FRIED DONUTS 😋
Ingredients:
500g Manitoba flour
2 eggs
70g of sugar
1 cube of fresh brewer’s yeast
Half orange juice (about 35g)
80g butter at room temperature
1 packet of vanillin
1 glass of any liquor
Seed oil for frying
Indications:
1. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with sugar and orange/lemon zest.
2. Heat some milk and dissolve the yeast in it, then add this mixture to the dough.
3. Also add orange juice, vanillin and liquor.
4. Add the flour in two parts.
5. Finally, add the diced butter.
6. Cover and let rest for 2 to 5 hours (until the dough doubles in size).
7. Make some balls and cover them with the flour, then make a hole in the middle of each piece.
8. Cover with a kitchen towel and leave to rest for 1 hour.
9. Fry the donuts in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
10. Top with granulated sugar and serve
