Dog visits his little brother every night to make sure he’s okay

A little 2-year-old boy named Jaxon, and his dog Ludo, share the most beautiful and adorable bond. They have always been together, and their family could not be happier with this beautiful friendship.

Tia Laycock, Jaxon and Ludo’s mother, told The Dodo :

“Jaxon has never known life without Ludo. They have been inseparable from the beginning.”

This duo of friends does everything together. During the day you can see them sharing time, while they spend time playing games and adventures. If you see one of them, the other one will almost certainly be there too.

When the night comes, and it is time to go to sleep, that is when this bond seems to be the strongest.

Since Jaxon already has his own room, his family decided to install a camera to help them keep an eye on him at night, but soon, Tia discovered that it wasn’t just them doing it; her dedicated dog had already taken this task under her wing, though he was never trained for it.

Ludo enters Jaxon’s room several times a night, as Tia was able to observe on tape, to make sure his best friend is safe and comfortable. And this he always does.

In the video, the dog can be seen walking into the room to get a closer look at her little one, often snuggling up next to her bed.

For Tia, noticing her dog’s adorable nightly routine with Jaxon was just too touching, and she’s always keeping a close eye on the pair of friends.

She said:

“It’s really wonderful to see him do, especially since it’s not something he’s been trained to do. He does it alone”.

The love this dog has for his little brother has clearly caused him to strike out on his own in caring for his best friend. There is no doubt that Jaxon and Ludo will be friends for life, and that there will be nothing and no one who will break that bond that has been created between the two.

Tia added:

“It’s lovely to see the bond they both have. And it’s nice to think that if something were to ever happen at night, we’d have that extra set of eyes to alert us to anything.”
